Moodboard Monday

Apparently today is known as blue Monday because its the most depressing day of the year. I can figure why people think that...what with everyone being on a bit of a downer after crimbo and desperately waiting to be paid.

But I am saying no to blue Monday, I am not blue, I am trying to focus on the little things, and making time to enjoy them. I have decided to do a blue themed moodboard for today though. Some of these photographs are so beautiful and mesmerising.

I hope this Monday has been good to you and there was nothing blue about it.

Little Loves // 06

It has always been my aim to do these posts on a sunday - still haven't managed it but maybe one day. Anyway I hope your weeks have all started well. I had a lovely relaxing weekend and really enjoyed the sunshine. Here are some of the little things that I have loved from the last week. 1. Morning sunshine rippling on the thames on my way to work. Have been walking part of the way to work a couple of days a week and it is a seriously good start to the day when the sun is shining.

2. All this blossom is making London looking mighty fine right now. Am loving this city right now.

6. Sorry for the terrible photo but check out these beautiful personalised notebooks that my buddy Kate got for me. How am I ever going to use them? they are just too pretty!

Kitchen Organisation
kitchen inspiration

One of the other things that I am really excited about is the Kitchen. I have to be honest this is mainly going to be NM's domain...because he will be using it the most - but I am still excited about getting it all organised and lovely so that we can have lots of people over for dinner. I have rounded up a few pics of some awesome Kitchens from pinterest and boy are there some organised and clever people out there. Will keep you posted on how it all goes, but I am pretty sure I am going to have to stop NM taking every single thing out of the kitchen and re-organising it all the day after the wedding!
