SHOP OPEN

Just popping in briefly today to let you know that the shop is open again for all your greetings cards, prints and enamel pin needs (haha well maybe not all of them, lets not carried away now).

I have lots of ideas up my sleeve for new products and a bit of a redesign of the shop and website, and I will slowly be working on those in every nap time available over the next couple of months, but I thought I might as well get the shop up and running and then I can add and change as I go along.

If you sign up to my newsletter which is going out tomorrow there is a 25% discount code to spend in the shop - a big thank you for those of you who have signed up already and are following along and getting up to date news, discount codes and freebies etc.

I have really felt so blessed because of all the support of my small business this past year - it has started to grow in exciting ways and I have really enjoyed working on it.

If you do want the discount that I mentioned above I have made it super easy and have inserted the sign up box below so that it is easy peasy!

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Calder & Byrne

Guys I have slightly switched up my posting schedule this week, because I am so excited to share with you today the launch of a new online shop called Calder & Byrne created by the wonderful Siobhan from Bless the Weather. I am so so honoured that she is stocking some of my prints and greetings cards, and I am looking forward to working with Siobhan and Calder & Byrne more in the future. Siobhan has such great taste and so this shop is just packed full of things that I want to buy. That was pretty much Siobhan's inspiration for the shop - to create a place where you can go and buy a whole variety of items that would be great for gifts and also to treat yourself, but they are all in one place so you can kind of do a one stop shop order! I know already that this is the place I am going to be going for birthday presents and also maybe little treats for me :)

The other main goal of the shop is to support local and UK based artists, and that is kind of how Siobhan and I connected, we actually live fairly near each other! She can pretty much just come round and pick up stock when ever she wants. I love that community feel and am just so excited to support her vision for this. So seriously, support the small businesses and the one man band makers in the UK and go spend some of your pennies in Calder & Byrne! Two of the prints they are selling of mine are totally exclusive to C&B so that is the only place you will be able to find them!

Mother's Days Card
motersday_cards.jpg

Guys, I want to do you a public service and remind you that Mothers Day is on March 15th (well in the UK anyway, US folk you don't need to panic until May) so you have two weeks to get yourself sorted and get a card to let your Mum know how much she means to you.

I recently designed 4 different Mothers Day cards which are all available in the shop. I hand painted all of the designs with ink and then played around with them on the computer to get the colours and composition exactly how I wanted them. Each card is printed on really lovely white 270gsm card and they come with a kraft envelope. You still have time to order one if you fancy - just tootle on over to the shop

It's so funny because when I designed these cards I definitely had a couple that I liked more than others but it always seems to be the way that people prefer the ones that are not my faves. Bottom right of this set has been the most popular by far (so far) - not at all what I expected but interesting!

I have been working on some other cards recently too - you can see some below but check out the shop to see the whole collection. I am trying to add new designs a lot more regularly to the shop these days so it is always worth checking back. I have been focusing on cards mainly recently but I have some new print designs in the pipeline so hopefully it won't be long until there are more of those up there too!

Hope you all have a great Weekend!

Whats up in the shop

As I mentioned on monday I have been trying to be a lot more consistent with what I have been posting on my blog, instagram and twitter and so far this year I have been managing to do it and I am loving it - but as a result my shop has been a little bit neglected. Over the last couple of weeks I have been working on re-photographing the products and trying to make things a bit cleaner and more consistent in the look (haha I think my word for this year is consistent - that seems to be what I am all about right now). I still have a way to go but below are a few of the updated product shots.

I am working on new prints and cards which hopefully should be up on in the shop in the next few weeks and I am also putting together a new wholesale catalogue...so if you run/own a shop and you think my cards would be a good fit please feel free to get in touch and I would be happy to send you a copy when it is ready.

Speck + Stone

Last week I shared some beautiful stationery that I was drooling over - well today I want to share some stunning pottery.  Speck + Stone is an online shop selling  often one of a kind ceramics and is the work of Hannah Slade Wood 'Inspired by an appreciation and want for beautiful texture, minimalism and functionality'. I seriously wish my kitchen was full of these pieces. The logo was designed by the lovely Belinda Love Lee who you might remember I interviewed last year and the styling and photography on the site is by the talented sisters Melody Hansen and Gabriela Hansen. Hannah is one seriously talented lady but also an all round lovely person too. You should follow her on instagram for beautiful and carefully considered shots of her products and get inspired by her blog. Oh yeah...and why not buy some of her beautiful pottery! DO IT.
