Tools I use in my Business

I absolutely love getting nerdy about the tech that I use in my business - and my other favourite thing is to get recommendations from other small business owners about what they love using - so I thought I would put together a list on my website with all of the information and behind the scenes of my business you need. Some of the links below are affiliate links which mean it won’t cost you any more (and in some cases it will give you a discount) - but I will get a little commission if you sign up using my link. If you have been thinking of signing up for any of these tools and you use my link it’s a lovely way of supporting my small business so thank you! If you have any questions about any of these tools then feel free to drop me an email on hello@lizmosley.net

 Flodesk

Flodesk is my email marketing tool of choice and it has honestly made a huge difference to my marketing. It is so easy to use and the templates are beautiful and since signing up I have consistently emailed my list every week. I love that the price never changes however big your list grows and that it is a female owned company who are disruptors in their industry.

 Dubsado

The workflows and automations in Dubsado have saved me so much time in my business. I use it to manage client projects and schedule appointments but also love it for keeping everything organised with my podcast. All my guests get emails as part of my workflow that make sure they have all of the information they need before we record and booking in their slot to record is a breeze.

 Thrivecart

Thrivecart has been a game changer for me when selling and hosting my courses. I’ve had customers actually compliment what an enjoyable check out experience it was. The Learn platfrom for courses is easy to use and makes for a brilliant learning experience. If you sign up for Thrivecart using my affiliate link as a bonus you will get 2 x Days of Voxer with me where you can pick my brains about all things branding and small business (Worth £300)

 Squarespace

I have been using Squarespace for my website for a very long time now and can’t imagine ever moving. I also create beautiful Squarespace websites for my clients and am a Squarespace circle user. What I love about Squarespace is how easy the back end is to use - so it is perfect for easily keeping your website up to date and promoting your business as successfully as possible!

Loom

Loom is an amazing tool for video messaging. I use it almost daily to record short videos for my clients where I can share my screen and update them on the project we are working on together. I also use it for recording my screen for tutorials on my You Tube channel or for my courses. You can also use it to store videos as an alternative to Vimeo or YouTube if you need. It has lots of useful features and I am not sure how I ran my business without it anymore!

Liz Wilcox Email Marketing Membership

Ok this isn’t a bit of tech but it is one of my favourite and useful things I have invested in for my business. Liz Wilcox is so brilliant at email markerting - and she has a super affordable membership where each week you get sent a templates and idea for what you could email your mailing list. There are also lots of guest workshops and tutorials and she is someone who seriously over delivers! Email marketing is currently the marketing tool I am most interested in invested in and I have got so much out of being part of this membership!

Adobe Creative Cloud

I have probably used Adobe software almost every day of my career as a Graphic Designer. I couldn’t be without it.

Libsyn

This is where I host my podcast.
